Zermatt!

So, this is one of the best days ever. Taking Marissa back to Zermatt and seeing her face light up is beyond priceless. Plus we have this view on our balcony. 

Not so bad. 

We took a stroll through the town after checking into our hotel, Coeur des Alpes. 

Zermatt is not oversold in photos. I've never been to place like this. It's an interesting combination of old and modern. When the guys driving the horses go by it immediately feels like Christmas. 

It's only about a 15 minute walk back to the town center from our hotel. We are even closer to the lift up to the Matterhorn. 

There's a nice steady flowing river just below our hotel too which makes everything sound so peaceful and relaxing. 

We really lucked out with the weather again today. It was in the low 70's when were walking about the town. We'll see how the weather holds up the rest of the week.  

Marissa can't stop smiling and I can't either. This place is magic.
