First exploration

Even though we didn't get much sleep on the flight...  We checked into our cute little Bed and Breakfast Hotel Nimo in Zurich and then hoofed it around town to see some of the sights. 

Always fun to look out at the real Lake Zurich and think back about growing up in Lake Zurich, IL.  It was fun to see Chris see it for the first time!

The weather here is gorgeous - in the high 70's and so sunny.  Lots of people were out by the lake hanging out enjoying their Saturday including a ton of insanely cute dogs.  Swiss dogs are extra cute.

Our room at Nimo doesn't have a number - it is named after a location in Zurich, the Lindenhof Room.  So we walked up to the actual Lindenhof location and hung out there for awhile.

We walked along the river for a bit longer and then swung through the grocery store so Chris could stock up on his apples for the week to keep up with his apple a day quest!

We grabbed a quick dinner that we ate out on the balcony of our room enjoying the lovely evening.  

Now just trying to stay up a bit longer to keep the massive jet lag away.

Coming to Switzerland was a wonderful surprise.  I do love it here so much and am so excited to see it with Chris!
